Artfor is a voluntry organisation with twofold intent- to provide an inexpensive platform for local, small scale artists to exhibit their work, and to raise money for local and international charities, causes and appeals.

The artists’ membership of artfor includes a profile and blog on the artfor website and a guaranteed place in our biannual exhibitions, on condition of a promise to donate half of any commission from the show to the chosen charity.

In 2010 these charities include the Red Cross appeal for the Haiti earthquake disaster, and the Brighton Pride festival.

We are working closely with At The Coach House in Kemp Town, a social enterprise dedicated to creative and community events, who have generously lent us their beautiful and unusual venue to help raise as much as posible for our causes.
