Bio: Jon Morse is Art Director for the online Arts & Culture Fallyrag, and divides his time between interviewing artists and producing his own work. This series of Pop Art icecreams entitled ‘Dropped’ captures a moment when childhood shakes violently into adulthood. ‘I wanted to reproduce that moment after dropping an icecream for the first time. When I was 4 years old I wasn’t allowed another one. I was devastated. Until then childhood had been perfect – this was an unexpected peek at the disappointments of life to follow. And let’s face it, there are few things as gutting as dropping an untouched ‘99.’

Usually a portrait painter, the ‘Dropped’ series demonstrates a recent forage into stencilling for Jon following a move from North London to the South Coast.

Jon is also a freelance designer and is a partner in the Jigsaw Designs Partnership that constitutes the Fallyrag Design House.
