Bio: Rebecca’s work is an attempt to translate surrealist ideas of automotive gesturalism into portraiture and figure painting. Exploring images of the human form by dissembling shapes and abstracting colours, Rebecca aims to make the process of capturing the subject immediate and tangible, resulting in bold and vibrant, sometimes challenging compositions.
