Bio: I wanted to push the idea of piercing and tattooing to the extreme through the medium of ceramic sculpture. The way in which soft flesh is punctured, penetrated and embellished is fascinating, whether it be a face,a tongue or even a banana. These pieces juxtapose the soft curves of the clay with cold, hard steel.
